Welcome To SCTA Tennis

As a new member of the Sun City Tennis Association (SCTA), you are joining over 700 other tennis players who want to welcome you to one of the most active tennis clubs in the South. With 16 clay tennis courts, five tennis professionals who provide clinics and lessons, and countless potential partners, this is the place for you to enjoy tennis year-round.  Regardless of your tennis level, or if you play competitive or social tennis, we have a program for you.

Advantages of Membership

There are multiple advantages to being a member of SCTA, and here are a few.

    • SCTA serves as your advocate with the Community Association, especially Health and Wellness. Our advocacy has resulted in
        • complete renovation, including lighting and fencing, of courts 1-12
        • two additional courts (15 and 16) added last year, as well as erecting the new shade structure between these two courts,
        • new stadium seating on our south side courts,
        • the purchase and maintenance of our Rosetta drag mats and scorecards,
        • additional personnel in the LOGO building who help with scheduling,
        • ongoing lobbying for additional courts and services, and
        • working with the Community Association to hire a professional company to maintain our courts.
    • SCTA provides its members various tennis opportunities, such as
        • Rookie League open to players rated 2.5 or lower
        • USTA team(s),
        • Ability to reserve season courts (12:00-18:30) for your group of players,
        • SCTA sponsored Intraclub at your tennis level, and
        • SCTA sponsored tournaments throughout the year.
    • SCTA promotes a culture of professionalism, courtesy, and respect for others in all areas of operation. This is apparent in the way we conduct business, plan, communicate, and make fiscally sound business decisions.
