What We Are All About?

The Women’s Tennis Origination (WTO), a sub group of SCTA, sponsors tennis by promoting fellowship of women across all player levels and experience. WTO raises funds for local charities and community projects through special events and programs.

A cornerstone program is the Memorial Tennis Scholarship which provides monetary awards to local high school tennis players to further their tennis skills.  Other organizations WTO supports are Public Tennis Inc., Pledge the Pink Foundation and Bluffton Self Help.

Memorial Scholarship Eligibility Criteria

The WTO Steering Committee is made up of 12 women members recruited from SCTA. The Steering Committee meets monthly on the 2^nd Monday of each month.

Events for 2025:

• • • Food for Love: Feb 6-13^th, the Bluffton Self-Help van will be at court 5 from 10am – noon on the 13th.
      
    • Wine & Cheese: March 2^nd, 4 to 7 pm Gazebo & Courts 1 & 2
      
    • Trivia Night: March 28^th, 4:30 to 7:30pm in the Pavilion
    • Match Point: April 26^th
    • Tennis In the Pink: Sept 27^th
    • Volunteers are always welcomed & needed
